What is this myfreeforum thing and the ads?Myfreeforum.org is a free bulletin board based on the program phpBB. This is open source software, which means it is free. There are many free bulleltin boards on the Internet based on phpBB. If we install phpBB on our web server, there will be no ads. The ads are how Myfreeforum.org offers a free bulletin board. However, it takes a good bit of time or possibly hiring someone to install phpBB on our web server. When we have enough people using our bulletin board, we can justify hosting our own bulletin board, and the potential is there to host other bulletin boards for community-minded groups with similar goals and interests. (If you know something about PHP, MySQL, and how to configure them, and would like to donate time and expertise to us, it would be greatly appreciated.)
